These are Beatrice's 2 chicks. They are still really little, but you can see the feathers growing on their feet. And they can move so fast! They still like to huddle under their mom, though - they're never too far from her. Interestingly, Hudson the Rooster is also very protective of them... he's a hands-on dad.

Amelia's chicks are going to be amazing looking. They are either silkie / polish frizzle crosses, or frizzled cochin/polish frizzle crosses. This picture is actually more around the 3 week mark. It's hard to get photos of them in the fenced-in run. The tractor that they are in gets moved every day and the 4 chicks have become eager hunters. Amelia also lets them get away with murder - when we through scraps in for them, the chicks take the pieces away from their mom and she indulges them completely.
The vet called. Dr. Sherry is on her holiday, so it was Dr. Bob calling to give us the results on the Ewes. NO SIGN OF Q FEVER!!! And no sign of anything else wrong. The tests on Buckwheat haven't come back yet, but that is amazing news.
